From off the wall to right on the road. Within hours off escaping without fines or detention from Chinese Authorities off the Great Wall, we are back to hitchhiking. Our journey west begins toward Xinjiang, and starts on the streets of the Beijing suburbs. We make friends, try Uygher food, get help hitchhiking from law enforcement, and venture into new territory. This is how you backpack China, even with the help of some Chinese police. Enjoy.
