Part three of our day trip to Istria was my favorite part of our most recent trip to Croatia. We visited Zavrsje aka Piedmonte (in Italian) which was left mostly abandoned after WWII by the Italian population. I love speculating about what life was like before the buildings became abandoned. There were very few people in this town, living there or visiting, while we walked the streets.
