Hello everyone. In this quick tutorial, I'll show you how to set the exact same duration for all images in your CapCut PC project. This is perfect for creating consistent slideshows. Let's begin.
Step 1. Import your images.
Start by selecting all the images you want to use and drag them into your timeline.
Step 2. Identify the problem.
If you zoom in on the timeline, you'll see each image has a default duration, often around 5 seconds. Manually trimming each one to be shorter would take a long time.
Step 3. Access the duration settings.
To fix this efficiently, go to the top menu bar. Click on "Menu", then select "Settings".
Step 4. Set a uniform duration.
In the Settings window, find the "Edit" section. You will see an option called "Image Duration". Here, you can set a default length for all images.
For example, if you want each picture to be 2 seconds long, simply change the value to "2". The unit here is seconds.
Step 5. Understanding frame duration (Optional).
Click the dropdown menu next to the duration box. You can switch the unit from "Second" to "Frame".
Since video frame rate is often 30 frames per second (FPS), setting a duration of 15 frames would make each image appear for half a second (because 30 frames = 1 second).
Step 6. Apply and confirm.
After entering your chosen duration, click "Save". Now, when you import new images to the timeline, they will automatically have the duration you just set. For example, five images at 0.5 seconds each will create a 2.5-second clip.
And that's it. You have now learned how to quickly set the same duration for all your images in CapCut for PC. Thank you for watching. If this was helpful, please like the video and subscribe for more tutorials. Have a great day.
