Hrishad Rai is a singer-songwriter from Darjeeling. Having spent most of his childhood in Kalimpong, his music carries the calm, solitude, and quiet strength of mountain life.
While rooted in folk, country, rock, and blues, his songs weave stories and leave a lasting echo, much like the hills he comes from.
Hrishad played his original "Maya" at Lemo's Originals Session, a very intimate and raw setting where he took us all on a journey on how this song came about.
