here is the starch cycle on the miele W504.
this is a lower level rinse followed by a full 1300rpm final spin, for starching purposes.
interesting that the soak/prewash light is used for this rather than the rinse light. i assume this is just to differentiate the cycle from a standard rinse, since it it neither a soak or a prewash.
there are also no additional bursts performed on the final spin, unlike on the final spins performed as part of wash cycles. this is also the case on the seperate spin only cycle.
energy usage for this cycle was 0.041kWh.
00:00 - introduction, loading, adding detergent, selecting cycle
01:50 - start and aligning water diverter
02:01 - starching rinse
12:24 - final spin 1300rpm
19:46 - end and conclusion
