After we visited the Bailey Hump Yard we shifted location to the western approaches to the yard.
One of the joys of travelling with sound and video recording equipment, is the fear of equipment malfunctions. We had a few of those and the odd people malfunction which we remember fondly. This video is affected by a sound fault later in the program, not sure which was to blame, but we'll call it a technical glitch. I did look for some replacement sound from somewhere else, but nothing matching was found. However, the footage is too good not to include and what a pleasure it was to see the amazing collection of UP cabooses from the ever expanding UP in the day. All over the UP in 1985 it was the same.
