Tim Westwood is something of a British radio legend. As the voice of hip-hop on the BBC throughout the ’90s and early ’00s, Westwood became something like English Funkmaster Flex – ubiquitous, whether you loved him or not.

At the 2003 Red Bull Music Academy, Westwood explained his philosophy for breaking records, coming up and how the son of an Anglican bishop came to represent a culture born on the other side of the Atlantic.
