TT Ride Along - Niagara Falls GO Train

Описание: It's only relatively recently (since 2009) that Niagara Falls was added to the GO Train network. In doing so, GO Transit started to redefine what it was in terms of a regional transit carrier. The Niagara Falls train proved to be a success, with the summer weekend excursion service becoming permanent and year round, followed by a weekday service for commuters. More GO Trains are coming to Niagara Falls, but what does that mean to the rest of southern and southwestern Ontario? Are GO Trains the best form of transit to reach the more far-flung communities of this province, or is something new to be considered?

We discuss this, as well as the history of this service, and the communities it serves, in this full ride-along video, shot by James Bow on October 28, 2025. Enjoy the fall colours and listen to the ambient sounds of the GO Train as we head out into the beautiful Niagara Peninsula.
