Paolo Rossi, born 23 September 1956 in Prato (Italy). 215 games and 82 goals in Serie A, playing as striker with Como, Vicenza, Perugia, Juventus, Milan and Verona. In 1982, he led Italy to the FIFA World Cup title, scoring 6 goals to win the Golden Boot/top scorer honors, plus Golden Ball and Ballon d'Or. After his performance at the 1982 FIFA World Cup he became a hero in the hearts of all Italians. From 1975 to 1987 he played 10 Serie A seasons, missing 2 years of career (from April 1980 to April 1982) for being disqualified in the scandal "Totonero". With Juventus (1982-1985) he won 1 Scudetto, 1 Coppa Italia, 1 European Cup, 1 Cup Winners' Cup and 1 UEFA Supercup. With Vicenza (1976-1978) he became topscorer in Serie B (1976/77, 21 goals) and in Serie A (1977/78, 24 goals).
With Italy he scored 20 goals (9 in FIFA World Cup) in 48 international games, taking part to 3 World Cups (1978, 1982 and 1986).
