as the month comes to a close, i'm gonna take this opportunity to speak about my mindset moving forward for this year

i came into 2022 with the idea that i would do monthly FULL remixes, but that quickly became an incredibly arduous task with my february video (emanation xce v3) literally coming out on the last day of the month. after that, i settled with full videos without chorus, which even now still feels like cheating. as the months started rolling by, i found it increasingly more difficult to make a video every single month, especially so with the past 2 months. i hate to say it but the tpot video was probably my worst of this year, and i didnt feel like i was improving at all. i began straying from remixing being my main passion, and it was becoming apparent. even this remix feels like a cop-out, which is absolutely no fault to jario, he did an incredible job and i knew he would. i just felt like i was on my last leg when i asked him to do such a big favor for me. right now, i find more joy in writing stories, making music (including bases), and working on projects not related to sparta remixing. so unless i get a random burst of motivation, i don't have plans to make a sparta remix for september, or the rest of the year. i'll do whatever makes me happiest from now on.

tl;dr, i will never know what the future holds, but it's likely that i won't continue with monthly remixes
