Описание: ഇറാൻ യുദ്ധം മൂലമുണ്ടായ ഇന്ധന പ്രതിസന്ധി കാരണം കോഴിക്കോട് നഗരത്തിലെ എൽപിജി ഓട്ടോകൾ സർവീസ് നിർത്തിപ്പിച്ചു. ഇന്ധന സ്റ്റോക്ക് തീർന്നതോടെ പമ്പുകളും പൂട്ടി. 500 ഓളം എൽപിജി ഓട്ടോകൾ നഗരത്തിൽ ഓടുന്നുണ്ടെങ്കിലും ഇന്ധനക്ഷാമം രൂക്ഷമായതോടെ ഭൂരിഭാഗം ഓട്ടോകളും പ്രവർത്തനം നിർത്തി. ജില്ലയിൽ പയ്യോളിയിലും കുണ്ടായിത്തോടും മാത്രമാണ് പമ്പുകൾ ഉള്ളത്. കുണ്ടായിത്തോടിലെ സ്റ്റോക്ക് തീരുന്നതോടെ പ്രതിസന്ധി കൂടുതൽ രൂക്ഷമാകും. നഗരത്തിന്റെ അകത്ത് സരോവർ, പുതിയങ്ങാടി എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിലെ പമ്പുകൾ നേരത്തെ അടച്ചുപൂട്ടിയതാണ്.
