Today with us In the Aftermath and fall of Ragnarok, Santa monica has finally decided to reveal some of the heavy amounts of concept art, they had development In the early stages of Ragnaroks Creation, so In todays video, we will be analysing important bits of concept art and talk about how this could have impacted the different drafts of Ragnarok script, before the studio settled on Its current story.

Now I will say, when It comes to concept art from a developmental standpoint, please do keep In mind a lot of this essentially comes from a variety of different ideas of a similar script, script writing unfortunately Is very stream lined, hence why a lot of art/ideas you see here, could’ve actually come from a draft that was entirely different, from what was materialised In game, so everything here should be kind of taken with a grain of salt, but understandably, Its sucks to see what could have been with Ragnarok.

Because whilst I and many really enjoyed the story and Its narrative, it wasnt quite the prophesied battle that many of expected It to be, despite these Issues I still throughly enjoyed my time with the game, but It simply cant be ignored how drastically the pace of the story changes upon Broks death, and with us knowing the ALOT of Sinmara, Surtr and helheim cut dialogue and quests, It kinda leaves the question up In the air of… what else was left on the cutting room floor?
