Описание: In this video we are going to Go With Joe to see how he does a whole house re-pipe from Poly to PEX. He will be going from the recalled gray Polybutylene pipe to PEX pipe. He will show you how Tapp Plumbing takes pride in their work and your home by cutting sheet rock nice and straight in order to help the next trade (sheet rock repair person) easily be able to repair the sheet rock and easy access to the existing water pipes . This house has polybutylene water pipe which has been recalled and also had a class action lawsuit against them, which resulted in homeowners during that time period to get compensation . The time has passed on being compensated on polybutylene pipe replacement. Some home owners did not have problems at the time of the class action lawsuit so polybutylene pipe replacements now have to be covered by the homeowner. Unfortunately we do not see homeowners insurance pay for polybutylene replacements. However this is a matter to discuss with your own insurance agent. Not all insurance companies are the same , so do your research to see if insurance claims can be filed for polybutylene replacements. We had to replace the existing Polybutylene pipe from the meter at the street to inside the home as well. We do not use PEX pipe in the yard. We only use Black Polyethylene made for outdoor use. The Polyethylene is a different chemical compound that we feel is best for use outdoors.
