Описание: In this video, I will show you how to permanently disable and how to turn off Cortana windows 10. There is two methods and it depends on the version of windows 10 that you are using. Method one is for Windows Home edition, and Method 2 is for Windows Professional, and Enterprise addition.

Method 1 - Windows 10 Home
Inside the Registry Editor, click and expand HKEY LOCAL MACHINE/ /SOFTWARE/ Policies/ Microsoft/ Windows
Right click and make a new key called 'Windows Search'
On the right side of the window, right-click and make a New/DWORD 32bit entry. Call it 'AllowCortana' and hit the enter key. Right-click on it and select 'Modify...' and make sure the Value Data is set to 0.
Close out of the windows and restart computer for changes to take effect.


Method 2 - Windows 10 Professional and Enterprise
Open the Group Policy Editor (gpedit)
Navigate to Local Computer Policy/Computer Configuration/Administrative Templates.
Below expand 'Windows Components' then select 'Search'
On the right side, look for the setting called 'Allow Cortana.' open it, then select disable.
Next, look for 'Allow Cortana above lock screen' open it, then select disable.
Close out of the windows and restart computer for changes to take effect.
