In this video, I discuss the differences between an OB and Gyn physician.
Both Obstetricians and Gynecologist are physicians who focus on women’s healthcare and reproduction.
The obstetrician’s focus is on a woman before, during and after pregnancy. The ob has expertise in
counseling you prior to your pregnancy so you are best prepared for pregnancy.
During pregnancy, your obstetrician is the doctor who will monitor you and your baby’s health.
A gynecologist’s focus is on women’s healthcare while she isn’t pregnant.
The gynecologist focus’ on preventative health, helping you with decisions on your reproductive health.
