Lexus Design Award 2020 | Crafting for the Future

Описание: For the Lexus Design Award 2020, Lexus partnered with the winner of the first design award, Hideki Yoshimoto (LDA 2013), to have the distinct honor of developing the winning trophy design. Hideki sculpted a simple prism design that during the development process, unveiled a subtle "X" shape pattern, which he links to the signature Lexus vehicle grill. Just as the Lexus Design Award is about discovering talent that is otherwise hidden, his award design shares that element of unveiling amazing details through creativity.

Since 2013, the Lexus Design Award has helped emerging designers with Mentorship, Funding, and the opportunity to exhibit at Milan Design Week. For the Lexus Design Award 2020, each finalist received funding and mentoring from renowned designers to develop their works to present to our panel of prestigious judges.
