The other side of India | Asia's cleanest village | Mawlynnong

In this vlog, I drive solo from Nonjorong to Shnonpedeng and camp overnight in a parking spot with Jon Snow. The next morning, we go kayaking together — yes, kayaking with my dog! 🐶🚣‍♂️
One of the craziest and most peaceful experiences of my vanlife journey.

After that, I continue my road trip to Mawlynnong, tagged as Asia’s Cleanest Village in 2003. I camp inside my car again and the next day explore the village… and honestly, I couldn’t believe what I was

seeing.

There is:
• No cleaning staff
• No municipal workers
• No garbage lying around

Cleanliness here is a community rule. Every household takes responsibility. Every lane is spotless. Every garden is maintained. It felt like stepping into a dream village — but this is India.

This is not just travel.

This is vanlife, car camping, solo travel, and discovering how community can build something beautiful.
