Ruth’s journey is marked by silence and retaliation from the Church, and unimaginable personal attacks. She was accused of having an affair, removed from her post as mother superior in 2017 by Franco's direct order, threatened with disqualification & demotion, while police complaints were filed against her & her allies.
In the end, Franco was acquitted. But the verdict was not the end of the ordeal.
