This video documents the complete restoration of a 19th century antique knife, estimated to be over 100 years old, discovered abandoned in scrap metal.
The blade was severely rusted, the edge completely dull, and the wooden handle damaged by time. Using traditional manual restoration techniques only, I carefully removed corrosion, preserved the original patina, restored the handle, and sharpened the blade back to life — without using any modern power tools.
This restoration focuses on preserving history, not modernizing it. Every step was done patiently to maintain the knife’s original character and craftsmanship.
