Thunderstorms have battered parts of southeastern Queensland and northern New South Wales, as giant hailstones damaged property and vehicles and thousands are still without power.
The SES is expecting more wild weather to come, despite the Bureau of Meteorology removing severe weather warnings for these regions.
The Queensland State Emergency Service’s Glenn Alderton is urging residents to not ‘lay the guards down’.
