My favorite pundit is gone! Time for some music to honor his legacy as an American Hero!
This is a little tongue-in-cheek composition I wrote based on the intro music from the brilliant Colbert Report. It uses the prominent 'fanfare' theme from the beginning of the intro and slightly altered versions of the other thematical material played by the electric guitars.
My primary goal with this was to experiment, have fun and create something patriotic and generally schmaltzy to fit Stephens overblown character while using only the given thematic material (with some variations of course).
