DarkSwitch is a vertical survival city builder from Cyber Temple Games where you construct a settlement clinging to a giant tree above a supernatural fog called the Shroud. Think Frostpunk meets tower defense, but vertical — you expand platforms outward and upward, manage resources like lumber and food, and make hard moral choices that shape your colony's future. The Prologue alone introduces refugees fleeing the fallen outpost of Ignalis, the Luminarchy faction rolling in with their truth machine to interrogate your settlement, and a fear system that spirals fast if you're not careful. The soundtrack is composed by Akira Yamaoka of Silent Hill fame, and you can feel it — every Shroud encounter has real weight.
