This years Christmas present from my wife is the Bachmann L.B.S.C.R. E4 tank in BR black. I have had the loco fitted with sound by Olivias Trains of Sheffield, and for the first time on my layout, had stay-alive fitted in a loco.
The loco is first of all shown on the old area of the layout, and then is shown on a new extended area which has been laid with SMP Scaleway track and Marcway 4' points (more Christmas presents and still under construction).
I have had to do some tweaking to the CV's on the loco as it was originally only giving three beats per wheel revolution, it's not perfect yet, so minor adjustments will be done until I am content. I need to get it to run a lot slower from start, but every time I alter the starting voltage, it starts giving 20 beats per wheel revolution!!
