PM Modi laid the foundation stone and inaugurated development works in Ernakulam. He highlighted the foundation stone of a new polypropylene unit at Kochi Refinery aimed at strengthening India’s petrochemical capacity. The plant is expected to produce around four lakh tonnes annually and support industries such as packaging, textiles, automobiles and medical devices.
