Описание: Hello, and welcome back to the first zoo on this channel.

In this ninth episode we are asking the question: What does the Brazilian Wandering Tarantula and the Platypus have in common?
They are both venomous!

Combining a duck-like bill, webbed feet, and a flat tail like a beaver, you get the platypus. This semi-aquatic Aussie, unlike most mammals, lays eggs. And male platypuses also have a venomous spur on their hind legs.

The Brazilian Wandering Tarantula, unlike tarantulas, does not build webs to catch prey. Instead, it actively hunts and “wanders” the forest floor at night, which is how it got its name. And despite being called a tarantula, it is not a true tarantula — it is a different type of large, fast-moving hunting spider.
