This video shows how to diagnose and repair a Stihl MS362C or MS362C-M M-tronic chainsaw that has a broken tank or handle. This video includes repair of a non-functioning off/on/choke lever, and replacement of the foam suspension buffers.
NOTES ON CORRECT LOCATION OF THE 3 SUSPENSION BUFFERS (aka: AV Mounts)
-There is a star shaped buffer that goes onto the plastic pin at the bottom of the saw's front handle. The part number for this star shaped mount is: 1140 791 2800
In the video, I incorrectly placed a round doughnut shaped mount in this location (lower front left corner of the saw).
-The bushing located in the lower rear left corner of the saw, that the pin on the tank goes into, is part number: 1138 791 5902 and it has a raised lip around it.
-The bushing located in the lower rear right corner of the saw, just below the sprocket, is part number: 1138 791 5903 and it has a groove cut into it.
