Today I thought I would share with you how much money I make as a third year ObGyn resident as well as how much I made during my first two years of residency. I love these kind of videos because it gives me an idea of how people use their money and also because it helps to break the stigma against being open about how much money we make.

Especially as women, we tend to get paid less than men in our same field with same qualifications. In residency this is not the case because it is a standard amount for all residents per year. This inequality is a topic for another day, but for now hope you enjoy the up close and personal look into my finances and that it helps you get an idea of what you will be looking at in the future.
