Festival Showcase: Battle of Bands (India & International), Suron Ka Eklavya, Waah Ustad, Devanchal ki Prem Katha (Special Showcase)

Waah Ustad - Soul of Indian Classical

Presented by Dilli Gharana, Waah Ustad bridges classical and Sufi traditions with a contemporary touch. Conceptualised and anchored by Vusat Iqbal Khan in his distinctive Dastangol style, the segment will showcase the top six finalists of Season 1, mentored by Pandit Sajan Mishra and Meet Bros. Expect powerful live jugalbandis, Dervish dancers, and a grand fusion finale celebrating India's timeless classical heritage.

I am grateful to share that I was the 2nd Runner-up of the “Wah Ustad” reality show aired on Doordarshan, an experience that shaped me deeply as an artist.

In this performance, I present a traditional bandish in Raag Megh, a beautiful monsoon rag, composed by Bade Ramdas Ji of the Banaras Gharana.

I hope you enjoy this rendition and feel the spirit of Raag Megh through this live fusion performance.
