The Border Management Authority says it has disrupted suspected human trafficking operations and intercepted 14 Ethiopians and 16 Bangladeshis at OR Tambo International Airport.
Fourteen Ethiopian nationals, comprising five males and nine females, were intercepted upon arrival.
They were all travelling on an Ethiopian Airlines flight.
In a separate incident, sixteen Bangladeshi males were intercepted after BMA officials discovered that they were in possession of fraudulent visas.
Mmemme Mogotsi, the Deputy Assistant Commissioner for Communications and Marketing, had this to say.
