Lenovo B580 Restoration - disassembly
I got the laptop from a friend who didn't want it anymore.
I removed the audio so anybody can listen to whatever they want.
In this video you will see:
Disassembly of the laptop
Cleanup the old thermal paste and changed it
Cleanup the dust
Keyboard change (the old one was broken)
Assembly back and start it
Tools used:
Philips screw driver and a flat one
cotton buds and cotton discs
isopropyl alcohol
2 scrapers
MX-4 Thermal paste
Future plans:
Change the HDD with a SSD
Add additional 4GB RAM to maximum 8GB supported
Install Windows 10
