This park, with its well-manicured parkland, beautiful Catalina views, and active community center, is one of the most popular in Rancho Palos Verdes. Among the features available for public enjoyment in the upper park area are baseball and soccer fields, numerous picnic areas with barbecues, playground equipment suitable for toddlers to adolescents, and a 1/4-mile walking path.

The lower park area offers a sand volleyball court, picnic areas (no barbecues permitted), leisurely walking paths and locations for enjoying panoramic views of Catalina Island north to Malibu. As at all parks, dogs must be on a leash.

The community center has three rooms to rent. McTaggart Hall (formerly called the multipurpose room) hosts up to 150 guests for special occasions or meetings. This carpeted room includes use of a wet bar and outdoor patio. A 12’ x 12’ portable wooden dance floor is available for an additional charge. The Fireside Room is a cozy, carpeted room suitable for small parties or meetings of 40 guests. This room has counter space, couches and a fireplace. The outdoor patio makes it ideal for an indoor/outdoor affair. The Activity Room will accommodate up to 40 guests. This room has a painted concrete floor, counter space and sink, and is the ideal choice for a child’s birthday party or meeting. In conjunction with any room rental at this facility, kitchen use for light refreshments or catering is available for an additional charge. Use of tables and chairs are included for no charge with room rentals.
