有一天龙婆托的父母在田里干活，把还是婴儿的龙婆托放在树荫下，没多久突然发现一条非常大的大蟒蛇，蜷着身体把龙婆托团团围了起来，开始大家还以为大蟒蛇是想要把还是婴儿的龙婆托吃掉，附近的很多人也认为龙婆托应该没救了，而且也不敢上前去把龙婆托救出来。

但慢慢的龙婆托的父母发现，巨蛇就只是把龙婆托围了起来，不让人靠近，好像是保佑他，因此认为大蛇是来保护龙婆托的，于是拿着鲜花香烛来拜这条大蟒蛇，结果大蟒蛇果然慢慢的爬开了，大家赶紧去看龙婆托，发现龙婆托正睡得香，并且在龙婆托的身上地方发现了一颗闪耀着的宝石.

由于龙婆托的父母非常贫穷，是寄宿在一个富翁家里，这个富翁知道龙婆托身上发现宝石的事情之后，希望龙婆托的父母能够转让这颗宝石，龙婆托的父母最后只好无奈答应了。但富翁得到宝石后，竟然厄运连连，只好退换给了龙婆托父母。

而龙婆托的父母重获宝石之后，却好运不断，虽然没有发财，但生活也确实逐渐好转起来。

One day, while Luang Phor Thuad's parents were working in the fields, they placed the infant Luang Phor Thuad under the shade of a tree. After a while, they suddenly noticed an enormous snake coiled around the baby.
At first, everyone thought the snake intended to eat the infant, and many nearby villagers believed there was no hope for Luang Phor Thuad. No one dared to approach and rescue him.

However, as time passed, Luang Phor Thuad's parents realized that the giant snake was merely encircling him, preventing anyone from getting close, as if it were protecting him.

They began to believe the serpent was there to safeguard their child. In reverence, they offered flowers and incense to the python. Miraculously, the snake slowly slithered away.

Rushing to check on their baby, they found Luang Phor Thuad sleeping soundly. Moreover, on his body, they discovered a radiant gemstone.

At the time, Luang Phor Thuad's parents were very poor and lived as tenants on a wealthy man's estate. When this rich man heard about the gemstone found on the baby, he expressed his desire to acquire it. Left with no choice, Luang Phor Thuad's parents reluctantly agreed to give him the gemstone.

However, after obtaining the gemstone, the wealthy man experienced a streak of misfortune. Fearing the bad luck, he decided to return the gemstone to Luang Phor Thuad's parents. Surprisingly, once they regained possession of the gemstone, their fortunes began to improve. Though they did not become rich, their lives steadily became better.

According to the history of Wat PhaKho, it is the place that preserves Luang Pu Thuat’s sacred serpent gemstone amulet. In BE 2506 (1963), a grand consecration ceremony was held. Many renowned masters attended the ceremony, including Luang Phor Tim from Wat Chang Hai and Ajarn Nong from Wat Sai Khao. This batch of Luang Pu Thuat self-image amulets, depicting him holding the serpent gemstone, was created in the name of Wat PhaKho.
