Thank you for joining me on my channel! If you are new here, I'll give you a quick update! My name is Jenny, I spend my days working in the interior design industry. My husband and fur baby, Jasper, uprooted our casual California lifestyle to take a stab at a new adventure in Texas. I've created this channel to document my journey to my healthiest self. I have tried what feels like every diet, health plan, and weight loss trend imaginable including Weight Watchers (WW), Jenny Craig, Keto, Atkins, Noom, HMR, Slimfast, intermittent fasting, counting calories, YOU NAME IT! The best plan that has worked for me is the Optavia 5&1 Program because it is easy to follow and easy to keep up with in my CRAZY busy lifestyle. I am documenting my OPTAVIA 5&1 PLAN! In today's video, I'm sharing my favorite homemade taco seasoning recipe and also trying a new viral sensation.... cottage cheese queso dip. I have currently lost just over 110 lbs and am continuing my journey to lose a total of 200 lbs this year. Follow along on my channel where I'll be bringing you with me to show the 5 fuelings I eat during the day, my 1 lean and green meal, how I make sure to drink all of my water, how I make my coffee in the morning, how my body is adjusting, how I have more energy and sleep better + MORE tips! Use this guide as a starting point for your journey on the Optavia Plan, or if you are just looking for some new healthy options to incorporate into your household to live a more healthy lifestyle!

RECIPES -
TACO SEASONING:
1 cup Chili Powder
3 T Garlic Powder
3 T Onion Powder
3 T Red Pepper Flakes (I only use 1 T)
2 T Paprika
2 T Oregano
1/2 cup Cumin
1/4 cup Sea Salt
1/4 cup Black Pepper
Mix & store in an air tight container
Use 3-5 T per pound of ground meat
COTTAGE CHEESE QUESO DIP:
1 cup Cottage Cheese
1/2 cup Cheddar Cheese (1/3 cup to make it a complete Lean)
1/2 T Taco Seasoning
Blend the cottage cheese until it's smooth
Mix in cheese and taco seasoning
Microwave 1 minute and stir. I microwaved an additional minute to get it hot and all incorporated
Serve with Celery Sticks or Bell Peppers (weigh these out to calculate your greens for your meal)
