CHEST REJUVENATION | HALO LASER SKIN RESURFACING | Dr. Jason Emer

Описание: For today’s case, Dr. Emer is going to be improving this female patient's chest using the Halo laser. The female patient was experiencing sun damage and fine wrinkles to get chest that we can improve by rejuvenating her chest with laser. Previously, we would treat the chest with strong chemical peels and aggressive CO2 laser resurfacing, but with advances in technology and new techniques, we have found that long-term collagen building is better which can be achieved with Halo which is a new, hybrid fractional laser.

The Halo Laser is a fractional laser that utilizes both ablative and non-ablative wavelengths of energy to resurface the skin both deeply and superficially. These dual wavelengths work to effectively improve skin tone and texture by stimulating cell turnover while also correcting fine lines and wrinkles through promoting collagen production which tightens and restores elasticity to the skin.

As we roll across, the laser delivers deep and superficial wavelengths into the skin with the goal to tighten the skin, improve wrinkles long-term, and get rid of significant amount of sun damage. She will scab and be slightly red and peeling for the next week, and afterwards will be able to see a significant improvement. Maintenance is important to keep these results at their best over time.

This patient had Halo laser combined with Profractional to get the best results when resurfacing her skin. To pre-treat the skin and prep for laser, we tell our patients to do an Enlighten or Cosmelan peel from emeragecosmetics.com to avoid post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation from the lasers. After laser, patients may use our EmerageSkin Aerify Kit to post-treat and maintain the results.
