A dramatic biblical scene on Mount Carmel at sunset. The prophet Elijah, wearing a rough brown cloak, stands calm and resolute beside a stone altar. Opposite him, hundreds of false prophets of Baal shout, dance, and slash themselves around their altar as dark smoke and embers rise, but no fire comes.
Suddenly the sky darkens. Elijah raises his hand in prayer. In a burst of divine power, fire falls from heaven, engulfing Elijah’s altar in brilliant golden flames, consuming the sacrifice, stones, and water instantly. The false prophets fall silent in terror as the crowd gasps.
