Un-common jams in semi-automatic pistols and how to clear them. That is how to clear one of the more un-common jams you're going to come across while firing a pistol.
This malfunction is caused by the casing/bullet getting jammed in the barrels chamber and causes the slide to get stuck, the case is typically expanded so large that the the case does not return to spec after firing. Sometimes while ammo is being reloaded even with the resizing die the case has still not been compressed enough to its original outside diameter and will be more likely to cause this issue, the more times the cartage had been reloaded the more likely you are to run into this issue.
This type of malfunction is more common in competition shooting but I have seen it in other instances.
