Jewar in western Uttar Pradesh is emerging as a major development hub with the opening of Noida International Airport. Dhirendra Singh, Member of Legislative Assembly, Uttar Pradesh and representing Jewar constituency, in an interaction with ET Infra highlighted that Jewar and adjoining areas will soon emerge as major gateway to North India.
Singh highlighted that Ganga Expressway, Yamuna Expressway, Eastern Peripheral Link Road, Delhi–Mumbai High-Speed Corridor, rail connectivity as well as Dedicated Freight Corridor network, will make Jewar one of India’s most accessible hubs.
From the Noida International Airport to the upcoming Film City, Fintech City, Medical Device Park, Apparel, Textile hubs, and an MRO facility, the region is set to generate large-scale employment and boost MSMEs, women empowerment and local businesses, Singh highlighted.
