Описание: Being a bus driver in Guatemala is one of the most dangerous jobs on earth. Institutions have failed to deal with gang extortion and armed robberies properly for decades. The buses themselves look spectacular... what goes on inside them is not.

I initially set out to find out why U.S. school buses ended up in Guatemala and to talk to someone who did them up. What I went on to learn about them was really shocking Thank you to Ricardo, Mario, and Nelson for making this video possible.

I don’t want to fear monger too much; not every chicken bus is dangerous, and in some areas you can use them with no problems at all.
