Описание: this is the first video in a series about the step by step designing and building of wooden tool chest with a coopered lid and inlay designs and inlay banding work, the six drawers of the chest will use a unique locking mechanism of my own design. the chest will be constructed from cherry and maple and will involve half blind dovetails as well as box joints and curved box joints on the two piece coopered lid. and also lock miter joints and frame and panel work. the construction will show different methods for installing loose tenons and we will be outfitting the chest with custom holders for what I consider essential hand tools.
