Seven times we saw you defending Islam down in Karbala

Allah spoke on in the Quran on giving your ring in salah

Over praises highest status we will never have another


None who stood against him did so without being given warning

Are they hearing Ali speak or did they hear this lion roaring

Allah ordered when we pray we face the spot that you were born in


The power of Dhulfiqar rivaled only by his compassion

Who lay in his Prophets bed waiting for Muhammad's assassin

If they listened in Ghadeer... what a world could you imagine

If Muhammad was our Moses then Ali was surely Aaron


Only after lifting his hand could the message see completion

The vicegerent in the region was the Prophet's one man legion

The lion had sunk his teeth in prey was eaten never beaten

When the Prophet would unleash him watch him weaken every demon
