Marquetry is a type of décor with veneer elements that are combined to form a pattern on the surface of furniture. Meet a conservator who recreates a detail from the museum’s marquetry cabinet. This film is made for room 6 in the Collection presentation at the National Museum that shows design and crafts made between 1630 and 1730.
