National Firearms Museum Senior Curator Phil Schreier joins John Popp in the studio to present the World War II-era M3, popularly known as the grease gun. This early model has a cocking lever on the side that was eliminated in later builds, and handy features such as a detachable shoulder stock that doubles as a barrel cleaner. The M3 ceased production after the war, but it remained in the U.S. Armys inventory until the 1990s.
