A Custom Model Ibanez that is only one of 50 that were made for the Japanese Market. It was not offered in the USA Catalog. Its a Spalted Maple Archtop Model AF105SM with the awesome Super 58 Humbuckers and many custom items...


This cool guitar is just beautiful. In Mint condition and is absolutely the top of the line for Ibanez. With the full Spalted Maple Top, back and sides on this beauty, it is also fully bound on the body neck and Headstock. It has Mother of Pearl inlays for fret markers, carved wood knobs and tailpiece, a custom wood pickguard, custom branded truss rod cover and pickup surrounds. I have not seen a more beautiful guitar in this shop. What a beauty!


The guitar is not just a pretty face. It is set up with awesome low action with still plenty of room on the tunematic style bridge to raise of lower the action. We set it up with a new set of 11 guage flat wounds which were on the guitar when we got it. No fret wear on this beauty. The previous owner had flats on it. The Super 58 Pickups are just wonderful. We played this guitar in the shop extensively. It sounds and plays just great. Set up for a Jazz player but it would also take lighter gauge standard wounds as well. This guitar will handle any player style with ease! The guitar has a 24 3/4 inch scale neck and the nut measures 1 11/16 inches...


It comes with the shown case candy which was supplied when the guitar was new. It comes with the beautiful Blue Ibanez Hard Shell Case. As nice as the guitar. All latches, hinges and handle are still with it as well as the back restraint strap and accessory box. The black interior is in excellent shape. The case fits the guitar perfectly. You will love the case as well as the guitar!
