I have been trying a couple of solutions with support. So far this one has worked. They have been very responsive. Sometimes within seconds of an email.
The key is to create 2 different names coffee stations in the APP.
The best solution is to delete all existing coffee stations and then recreate them one by one — first adding the machine and its scale, followed by the grinder and its scale.
To switch between the two stations:
When you're on the first coffee station screen, tap the Home icon in the top-left corner
Then select the second coffee station from the list
This should help ensure stable functionality and accurate pairing.
