Here's a look at WYUL (now WQLR), licensed to Chateaugay, New York, USA, but primarily serving Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is one of the few American FM stations to primarily target a Canadian audience (the others being KWPZ Lynden, WA serving Vancouver, BC and WLYK Cape Vincent, NY serving Kingston, ON). The station's former call sign refer to YUL, the IATA code for Montreal-Trudeau International Airport.
The 94.7 Hits FM format started in 2002 and would be Montreal's first CHR radio station since 1991. The station's only local host, Marty Lamarre, was based in Montreal and the station had offices in Montreal, Cornwall (Ontario) and Malone (New York). As the station is not bound by any CRTC regulations, WYUL could accept French language advertising, which English stations in Canada are forbidden to do so. The station was also not bound to any Cancon (Canadian-content) regulations that the Montreal-licensed stations faced.
In June 2021, the owners of WYUL, Martz Communications announced the sale of the station and sister station WVNV to Christian broadcaster, the Education Media Foundation (EMF). The EMF runs hundreds of stations across the US with their satellite-fed radio networks K-LOVE and Air1. 94.7 Hits FM programming ceased on September 30, 2021 with the last song played being "In the End" by Linkin Park. The following day on October 1, 2021, the station became a part of the K-LOVE network and would change their call sign a few days later to WQLR. The station continues to identify as mainly a Montreal station, as heard in this legal ID recorded by TV Hat: • Rare K-Love 94.7 FM WYUL station ID (Malon... I believe this is the first time the EMF has attempted to serve a primarily Canadian audience, although a few of their stations near border are receivable in Canada.

I do have the final broadcast recorded, and will probably put it up eventually, although there are already many recordings currently available on YouTube.
