This is a song about the internet (aren’t they all?) which is a good thing sometimes, but also sometimes a very bad thing, especially in a mental health context. He finds himself keeping up with all the bad news, because it seems important. He knows that this is not a healthy thing to do and yet he does it all the time. There are other places you can go on the internet that are not so terrible, and this is to remind us of a self-care thing that we can do: looking at pictures of cats.
