March 15 to 31: Direct deposits continue; checks are mailed. April 1 to 15: Checks arrive. The IRS is updating the "Get My Payment" tool so taxpayers can track their check online. It was last available at the end of January and showed the status of both the first and the second round of payments, including the method of delivery (either direct deposit or mail) and the date of issue.
