This is the Inventory Management System. Please follow the instructions below to install and run the project on your local machine using XAMPP:

1. Extract the downloaded project folder (usually in ZIP or RAR format).


2. Open your XAMPP installation directory (commonly located in C:\xampp or wherever you installed it).


3. Navigate to the htdocs folder inside the XAMPP directory.


4. Paste the extracted project folder (e.g., IMS) into the htdocs folder.


5. Launch the XAMPP Control Panel, and then:

Start the Apache server

Start the MySQL server



6. Open your web browser and go to:

http://localhost/phpmyadmin


7. Once you're in phpMyAdmin:

Click the "SQL" tab at the top.

Open the readme.txt file found in the project folder.

Copy the SQL code provided in that file.



8. Paste the SQL code into the SQL editor in phpMyAdmin, then click "Go" to import the database structure and sample data.


9. After successfully importing the database, go to your browser and type:

http://localhost/IMS

(Replace "IMS" with your actual folder name if it’s different.)
