Описание: The Philadelphia was Benedict Arnold's Flag ship. USS Philadelphia was a gunboat of the Continental Navy. She was constructed from July-August 1776 in Vergennes Vermont for service during the American Revolutionary War. Manned by Continental Army soldiers, she was part of a fleet under the command of General Benedict Arnold that fought against the British Royal Navy in the Battle of Valcour Island on Lake Champlain. Philadelphia was sunk during the battle on 11 October 1776. The wreck was found and a replica was built at The Lake Champlain Maritime Museum. It is now in dry dock display to the public there. When it was sea worthy they used to bring on crews of amateurs to try an row it and try out. As you can see its not an easy thing to do, especially if you don't know what you're doing.
