Lousia Peck had her near-death experience in November of 1982. Once a self-proclaimed “angry atheist,” Louisa never imagined she'd encounter the divine after her heart stopped. She was on a path of self-destruction that traced back to her alcoholic family. Drinking and infatuation were the two “twin highs” that dominated her broken life — until a near-death experience, and Alcoholics Anonymous, helped turn everything around.
Louisa shares her astonishing near-death experience (NDE) that began with a fatal overdose of lidocaine, mistaken for cocaine, in a New York nightclub. What followed was a powerful journey of ego dissolution, flying over the ocean, a mystical reunion with her ancestors, and finally entering a brilliant light of unconditional love.
In this heartfelt and emotionally moving account, Louisa describes the feeling of being cradled like a child in the light, her reluctant return to life, and the transformative impact the experience had on her soul. She recounts her spiritual awakening, a shift from disbelief to truth, and how this NDE revealed the eternal nature of love, consciousness, and purpose.
👉 This video explores addiction, spiritual awakening, atheist-to-believer transformation, and the healing power of near-death experiences.

What is an NDE?
A near-death experience (NDE) is typically a profound, life changing, intensely emotional experience that usually occurs during a clinical crisis and has common characteristics and aftereffects. It is not a dream, hallucination, or mental illness (Greyson, 1983). There are no predictive variables to identify who will have an NDE. They happen to people of all ages, religions, socio-economic groups, cultures, educational backgrounds, and belief systems. They occur under a variety of circumstances such as accidents, near-drownings, illnesses, combat, surgical procedures, and childbirth. Following an NDE, experiencers (NDErs) often display some common aftereffects. Research has established a set of common NDE characteristics and long-term aftereffects. Theories used to explain near-death experiences in purely physical terms have been proven inadequate by NDE researchers and others.
